Big changes a-coming

I have not lost my faith in the CherryPop story. It’s always percolating in my head but I’ll admit I’ve been in a holding pattern on it. Something wasn’t working with it and when that happens I’ve learned it’s best to let it go for a while.

And the other day something happened that got me really excited about the story again. Something that required some big changes. The story’s being re-imagined into a slightly different genre. When I thought about this, everything came together like the Monty Python cartoon God appearing in the clouds above Graham Chapman and telling me I’m on the right path.

NaNoWriMo begins on November 1st and I’ve been hard at work on getting this ready to attempt it. I haven’t decided if I’ll be putting the story here or excerpts. I’m still working out the best way to manage this website. Whatever happens, it will be a fun time :) I’ve changed up the look a little and I kinda dig it :)

As for the story born from the ficlet series, those will always be out there and I’m immensely grateful to Ficly (and it’s first-gen site ‘Ficlets’) for inspiring CherryPop and her world.

Stay tuned!

I like the ancient binder look, it's kind of cyberpunk/steampunk and it fits with the concept of aged people (zombies) who bypass time by being undead on the earth, and the modern setting.
I'm glad you are trying NaNo, let's be NaNo buddies :)
